Controversy over white DJ wearing traditional wear

Cape Town - A white woman, who calls herself Kasi Mlungu, caused storm of controversy on social media recently when she posted a picture in which many people said she was appropriating black culture. 

The woman, who also calls herself a house DJ, wears traditional clothing in the picture and makes what looks like Mqombothi.

And in another she talks race relations:

*Mlungu means white person.

Some people felt as though what this woman did, is cultural appropriation and that her actions were problematic in a lot of other ways.
