Courvoisier and Queen B a brand match made in heaven

Johannesburg - Bonang Matheba’s business brand grew even more this week – Queen B has scored a deal with signature cocktail Fleur de Courvoisier, an achievement she dedicated to all fathers on Father’s Day.

Matheba invited members of the media to Marble Restaurant in Rosebank, where she let us taste her cocktails.

Yes, we witnessed Queen B mixing her favourite cocktails.

Matheba was accompanied by mixologist Devin Cross, who took us through the process of mixing various flavoured drinks to make personalised mouthwatering recipes and juicy blends.

She said the brands “Courvoisier” and “Bonang Matheba” were a match made in heaven.

Matheba said she was excited when Courvoisier approached her with the proposal that she become part of their family.

“It is all about the lifestyle to me, and not to just drink. Young people should be careful and drink in a responsible way,” she emphasised.

Matheba also used the occasion to show her love and admiration for fathers, and thanked her own father for “all the wonderful things he has done for me throughout my upbringing”.

“My father is the one who named me Bonang and he has taught everything that I know, I am who I am because of him,” she smiled, adding that he gave her love and taught her to love others with respect, and to believe in herself, which grew her confidence.

“He is my superhero and I am very thankful to have him in my life.”
