Distruction Boyz point the finger at Khanyi Mbau for video delay

Cape Town – The Distruction Boyz have what some people are calling the song of the summer with their smash hit, Omunye featuring Benny Maverick and Dladla Mshunqisi.

The song has been played all over the country and fans have been waiting patiently for a video, but it doesn’t look like one is coming anytime soon, even though filming took place recently.

The hitmakers explained on their Facebook account saying: “We would like to apologize to all the fans and supporters but it is with great sadness that the music video will have another delay again and will not come out today as scheduled. Reason being Khanyi Mbau is complaining that the video does not represent her looks accordingly. She complained about have shades being too dark and this conflicts with her brands that sponsor her looks. To be honest we feel like she looks very pretty in the original shade used by video editors. Following that post – which was also shared on their Twitter – Khanyi Mbau tweeted: “I can’t reshoot! I am currently shooting a feature film with Leon Schuster, I am busy!!!  This video will wait!!” And later added: “Let’s respect each other’s brands! All the money u payed matters not when it comes to my looks tu!”
