DJ Zinhle shares lessons she learned from her mom

Johannesburg – DJ Zinhle showed love to her mother on Friday by dedicating a blog post to her. The musician, who became a mother to baby girl, Kairo, in July last year, shared some lessons she learned from her mom with her fans.

In the post, Zinhle talks about her excitement over her very first Mother’s Day. “With this being my first Mothers Day and to show appreciation for my mom and every other mother, starting today and for the rest of May, MOMentsbydjzinhle will be celebrating Mothers Month with you.” She wrote. She goes on to give thanks to her own mom, Jabu, calling her a “strong and beautiful woman.”

Many fans have admired Zinhle for being a hard-working, successful, business-minded woman. According to the star, these are all qualities she gained from her mom. “I worked hard because that is what I watched my mother do. She was a teacher who instilled in me the discipline work hard and not to expect anything from anyone. She taught me that the person responsible for me is myself." 

Sounds like a very smart mom you’ve got there, Zinhle.
