The vivid singer is sure taking full advantage of his fame as he is now selling bottled water. Dr Malinga took to his Instagram account to announce his new business venture called Linga’s water to his followers. He also states that the idea came from Mzansi’s lack of clean drinking water.
THE INSPIRATION
Dr Malinga has already added businessman to his resume when he released a range of his clothing line last year. The singer once told Move! magazine he isn’t a singer but a hustler and that his music is just one of many things he’s selling.
“The idea came from the need of sanitised water across the country. So I decided to capitalised on the need and sell bottled water to my people. We only got still water for now as it is the most consumed but as the business grows we will introduce flavoured water in future,” says Malinga.
OPENING UP SHOP
The larger than life muso also explains that people can order the water online and they will deliver the bottled water anywhere in the country and they also have ice blocks too. “Linga’s water is available through our online site where people can place their orders and we’ll deliver the water anywhere in the country but terms and conditions also applies. We know ice cubes will be in high demand as we are approaching the festive season so we also have Linga’s ice,” he says.
