Ex-eNCA anchor Andrew Barnes engaged

Cape Town - ICYMI ex-eNCA anchor Andrew Barnes resigned from the 24 hour news channel following his remarks about basic education minister, Angie Motshekga's English pronunciation on air.

After Barnes resigned he released the following statement via his previous employer: “After 23 years in broadcasting, I leave South Africa with my partner to start a new life in my favourite corner of the world, south-east Asia. I’ll be putting the years of experience I’ve gained in training and development to launch my own business in Cambodia. While Brandon and I shall miss this country, we’re excited that the time has come to spread our wings,” he said.

Now the ex-news man is engaged to his partner Brandon (mentioned above) ; he announced the happy news with a Facebook relationship update.
