Johannesburg – Cape Town based band, GoodLuck, rocked the stage at the Emmarentia Live festival on Wednesday, getting the crowd to jam along to some singles from their up-coming third studio album.
The group spent some time touring Europe in June, working on their album while away. Check out some snaps from their time in Amsterdam here.
Speaking to The Juice, lead singer Juliet says that the new album has been a huge part of their year so far, adding that it should be completed within the next three weeks. "We’re on our third album now and it’s been like a really collaborative process this one. We’ve reached out to people like DJ’s, producers, artists, from all over Europe, a couple in south Africa as well and we’ve really just put everything we have into this album. So I’m really excited to finish it."
Although they did not delve too deeply into the artists featured on the album, Juliet adds that the list of people they still want to work with is "as long as Table Mountain", adding that Black Coffee is definitely on that list.
"I know he’s the “it child” at the moment, but I just love his music. Black Coffee, he’s fantastic."
