Here's how you can join Locnville's record label

Johannesburg – By now you should have heard that local stars Locnville have started their own record label.

The duo are the owners of ContrBanned Records, which signed rapper Chad Da Don in 2016. 

Speaking to The Juice at Huawei Joburg Day on Sunday, the twins told us what it takes for an artist to join their label. 

Brian explains that their looking for someone who does not sound like anyone else on the scene at the moment. “All we’re looking for is something fresh, something unique. For us, it’s more than even a money making thing, specifically the label, we’re looking to really get new talent and nurture it, develop it, and turn it into something that can really be an amazing show for people. But it needs to have it’s own flavour.” 

If you think you’ve got what it takes to get noticed by the guys, Andrew says there are many ways to reach them. “The best way to get hold of CB is either on email with info@cbgsv.com or submissions@cbgsv.com. Or you can go to contra-banned.com and the contact form is also there.” According to the star, following ContraBanned on Twitter will also allow them easy access to you and your music should you wish to join their team.
