Here's what happened when AKA and Patoranking took over Coke Studio

Johannesburg – All eyes were on Coke Studio on Saturday when rapper AKA joined forces wih Nigeria’s Patoranking to create a killer track. 

With both considered heavyweights in their respective genres, there was no question that they would bring the heat. Working with producer Gospelondebeatz, AKA pushed the team to explore different sounds and get out of their comfort zones. 

And though it took some time for Patoranking to adjust, in the end the group produced the afro pop hit, Special Fi Mi.

In the second half of the episode, in-house producer, Wilson, helped fuse together RAW artists ABC Band from Bloemfontein and Roxy from Cape Town. 

The team faced the challenge of having to work without Roxy when she missed her flight to johannesburg, but that didn’t stop the guys from jamming and laying out some tunes with Wilson.
