HHP tells event organisers to 'KEEP the money'

Johannesburg – Don’t think you can bribe HHP with nice things – the rapper aired his frustrations with local event organisers after he played at a gig this past Saturday but only received R400.

HHP was excited to announce that his Bokone Bophirima Party Musical Manifesto raised R12 500 in aid of a North West University student fund. But disappointment soon struck after he learned that stakeholders were not planning on donating the entire amount.

In an Instagram post he said: "It is with great disappointment that I announce that the "Administration" of #BRS in Mafikeng are still disputing giving the entire R12.5k raised at the #BBP_ManifestoLaunch to the students of #NWUFund. They still want to split it amongst #stakeholders."

The rapper decided to settle the argument by turning down the entire sum. “So to cut the bullshit, I told them to KEEP the money,” he said.

He then let everybody in on what he received from organisers for the night. “I needed money for my kids from the show, but all I got from the gig was 400bucks, two sleeping rooms, 4 platters of food, two bottles of alcohol, two long toms of blue label, a six pack of water and a 20pack ya Cotliegh.”

Although he says he may have received money for petrol, HHP was also left annoyed by the lack of marijuana on offer. “I didn’t even have weed that night,” he wrote.
