Home affairs: Charges against Mos Def to be withdrawn

Cape Town  - American rapper Mos Def has apologised to The Department of Home Affairs and is now free to leave South Africa on Tuesday evening. 

This was announced at a press conference held by the local government department on Tuesday at 11:00.

The Director General of the department Mkuseli Apleni announced the withdrawal of charges against Mos Def (who is now known as Yasiin Bey) will be done of Friday, in the rapper’s absence. 

Apleni also said that he will be declared an undesirable person by the department.
