Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and his girlfriend Sphelele Makhunga have fueled pregnancy rumours.
The reports come after Itumeleng allegedly paid lobola for his bride-to-be recently.
The local model shared an image of herself wearing a blanket over her shoulders and a doek on her head on Instagram on Sunday, with the caption: "16.11.2019 Thank you @itukhune32," followed by a ring and two cow emojis.
Itumeleng also shared a photo of his girlfriend with the caption: "Hey Mrs K," followed by champagne and flute emojis.
In a photo that has now surfaced online, Itumeleng holds Spelele's stomach, as if he is cradling a baby bump.
The photo making rounds online, has lead many to believe that the couple are expecting their child together.
Both are yet to address marriage or pregnancy reports publicly.
Channel24 reached out to Itumeleng and Sphelele for comment and will update the story should more information become available.
