Jessica Nkosi's rep: She's an innocent bystander

Cape Town - Local actresses Jessica Nkosi and Phindile Gwala have found themselves at the centre of a social media storm, after a video surfaced of the actress flashing wads of money with the so called "Bling Bandits" online on Friday.

According to News24 the video has become the subject of a police investigation after it was linked to a second video clip, showing bundles of notes, in various denominations, in a suitcase.

Speaking to The Juice, a representative from Capacity Relationships called Nkosi an "innocent bystander" who was "simply meeting a friend for lunch."

The official statement goes on to say: "What transpired left Jessica uncomfortable and upset as this is not the company she is used to keeping nor the environment she wishes to associate her personal brand with."
