Jimmy Nevis and Bucie make musical magic on Coke Studio

Johannesburg – Yet another fiery episode of Coke Studio has come and gone. This time the soulful Jimmy Nevis teamed up with young talent Opposite the Other, while the queen of house music, Bucie, met with Cleo Ice Queen to make a hit of their own.

Jimmy is no stranger to Coke Studio, with this being the second time he has taken part in the show. It was, however, his first time working with new muso’s Opposite the Other. All great collaborations present challenges and though the two lead singers battled to find a happy meeting place in the beginning, they managed to work it all out, producing their song, Control-Alt-Delete

In the second half of the show, serial hit maker, Bucie, met with hip-hop/dancehall vixen, Cleo Ice Queen, from Zambia. With the two having met before, they were able to work well together to create their song, Simunye – an uplifting African anthem, themed around positivity, unity, and progression.

Coke Studio airs every Saturday at 18:05 on e.tv.
