Cape Town - Afrikaans singer Karlien van Jaarseveld remembered her daughter, Evah, with a moving tribute.
Karlien and her ex-husband Derick Hougaard shared the heartbreaking news of their miscarriage in 2015.
Karlien recalled the tragic day on Saturday. "Today, two years ago, was one of the hardest days of my life," she wrote on Facebook.
"Evah was in my uterus for 19 weeks, where I loved her and talked to her." She talked about her excitement and her fears. "How am I going to raise a baby girl," she asked herself. "I started to think that it was my own fault that I lost her, because I was too scared to raise her."
She added, "Evah, mommy missed you every day. You'll be my girl forever, I look forward to seeing you again, my doll."
