Khanyi Mbau: A man with money will get you everything but you will pay for it

Cape Town - Straight from the ‘Buckingham Palace of Soweto’ – what she used her call her childhood home - and working at her dad’s fast food restaurant to being a household name, Khanyi Mbau tells it all. 

The star sat down with Anele Mdoda on her show, Real Talk and told the story of her childhood; how she got her big break and a lot more. For those who don’t know Khanyi’s first big role was as Doobsie on Muvhango at the young age of 19.

Khanyi also spoke about her first marriage with Mandla Mthembu and said: “we never conversations, it was just (about) money, money, money…”

While unpacking her relationship with her ex-flame Khanyi says: “A man with money with get you everything but you will pay for it.” She then explains that even though the person with money will buy things for their spouse, the person receiving the gifts will be forever indebted to them in other ways.
