Liesl Laurie: I have friendzoned Proverb

Johannesburg – In his new talk show, Larger Than Life, comedian Jason Goliath delves deep into the lives of his celebrity guests, even giving his “unprofessionals” (a panel made up of comedians Glen Biderman-Pam and Nicholas Goliath) the opportunity to ask guests “the awkward question” of the night at the end of the show – Great for the audience, but not always so great for the guest.

Former Miss SA, Liesl Laurie can attest to this.

As a guest on episode 6 of the show on Monday , Liesl had all eyes on her when a question arose about her rumoured boyfriend, Proverb.

Talk of the two dating started making the rounds earlier this year when the couple were allegedly seen holding hands while shopping in Rosebank (read more on that here).

Living up to it’s name, “the awkward question”, made everyone a little uncomfortable when Liesl was asked whether or not she had friendzoned the SA Idols presenter.

“I have friendzoned Proverb,” she said, explaining that she is a young woman with big dreams that she would like to pursue.

Ouch!
