Cape Town - Multi-award winning hip hop artist, Gigi Lamayne, has just released a new love song titled #MyUglyBoy as she continues to solidify her position as the top female rapper in the country.

Gigi Lamayne shows off her lyrical prowess on the record as she is flexing some trilingual bars, which saw her being dubbed as one of the country's best female spitters.

#MyUglyBoy song is a bubbly, light hearted love song that touches on innocent love based on a true connection between people. It is funny and entertaining and totally different from mellow love songs.

"This is according to many industry influencers is believed to be bigger than my debut single, Ice Cream, I have never seen so much anticipation and I am thankful to my supporters," expresses Gigi Lamayne.

#MyUglyBoy is a follow up single from Gigi Lamayne's highly acclaimed debut album, iGenesis, which is available in physical copy in all good music stores across the country.

Gigi has been working her way up in the South African hip hop scene over the last three to four years and has  been blazing a trail for herself, having won six South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA) to date.
 
She uses her life experiences as inspiration to take to the entertainment stage and you will always find deeper meaning in her lyrics.
