Cape Town – We’ve already told you about how local muso Toya Delazy has been playing shows all over the UK, but what you might not know is that she has also been working on a new single that she released independently, on Friday.
The single is called Nu High.
The star detailed the reasons she had to go independent in a lengthy Facebook post in which she credits famous South African artist, Zanele Muholi among others.
Delazy also talks about the horrific events in Orlando this past weekend and numerous other local hate crimes in this heartfelt post #whyhate.
She then went on to give followers a behind the scenes view of her shooting the music video to go with the single.
