Cape Town - Former Miss World Rolene Strauss and South Africa's very first Miss Universe, Margaret Gardiner look gorgeous in the latest issue of Rooi Rose.

The beauty queens model the latest winter fashion trends on the pages of the women's lifestyle magazine.

"Thank you to everyone, but especially Rolene for being willing to do this. I had so much fun and simply adore you," Margaret captioned an Instagram photo taken behind-the-scenes. 

Sharing the magazine insert on Facebook, Margaret - who was crowned Miss Universe in 1978, wrote: "We also did some beauty shots and some fashion. It was so much fun." 

The latest issue of Rooi Rose is available on newsstands now.
