LootLove: I have cellulite, GROW UP & GET OVER IT

Johannesburg – Luthando “LootLove” Shosha has no time for haters! The TV personality struck back at social media trolls who attacked her after she posted a picture of herself rocking a bright pink dress at the Samas on Saturday.

Lootlove was stunning in a strapless gown that boasted a waist-high slit. The presenter posted a pic of herself walking the red carpet at this years Samas, but was surprised by the negative response she received from many fans.

When @aust_malema clicks, magic happens. #SAMA22 #KingLoot ????

While many expressed their unhappiness over her outfit choice, it was the constant badgering about the “dimples” on her thigh, or the colour of her knees that rubbed her up the wrong way.

In a statement on her Instagram account, LootLove made sure that her haters understood that she will not stand for body shaming.

“I put up a pic yesterday and naturally some didn’t like it (That’s always okay). What shocked me was the fact that only WOMEN were there one’s commenting about my knee or “dimples” (because we not mature enough to say CELLULITE!),” she wrote.

The presenter mentioned how many women came to Lerato Kganyago’s defense with her True Love cover drama, and yet attacked her. “JUST last week, we were all together upset about Lerato’s pictures but you, WOMEN, are the first to call us out and tell us how imperfect we are.”

“I have cellulite, GROW UP & GET OVER IT,” she added.

I just want to address something real quick!! ?????? THANK YOU to my baby @sihle_cityangel for making me look like a Futuristic Barbie... ?????? I loved wearing this dress and im pretty sure the smile on my face shows you how happy I was last night! ?? NOW... I put up a pic yesterday and naturally some didn't like it (Thats always okay). What shocked me was the fact that only WOMEN were there one's commenting about my knee or "dimples" (because we not mature enough to just say CELLULITE!). Please understand something, we're in a place where we constantly need to remind ourselves that "we're enough", Imperfections and all. We have to remember that we're enough but if the very same people we're trying to inspire or show; that imperfection is actually a norm, are the same people pulling us down for it, then we failing. We're failing young women growing up in a world that constantly tells them they have to look like they stepped off a page on a magazine. JUST last week, we were all together upset about Lerato's pictures but you, WOMEN, are the first to call us out and tell us about how imperfect we are. I have cellulite, GROW UP & GET OVER IT. Im not here to hide for you. What Im not okay with is YOU making YOUR problem with MY cellulite my problem on MY page. You have to do better! Be better so you don't come charging at women who are alright with their cellulite when you are also probably dimpled. Love. ????
