Johannesburg - Sassy TV and radio personality Luthando Shosha is starting this year on a high note. She was revealed as the brand ambassador for popular shoe line Footwork’s winter range this week.
Shosha, known as LootLove or King Loot among her fans, took centre stage in front of the cameras as she showcased the winter boot range in various trending colours at The Showroom in Woodmead, northern Johannesburg.
Shopaholics who are particularly obsessed with shoes are likely to drop their jaws when they see the new range by Footwork, which was developed in collaboration with LootLove.
Speaking to City Press, Shosha couldn’t contain her excitement, saying she was delighted with her new gig: “I’m truly honoured to be trusted by this incredible brand and be its representative.
Finally, I’ve been given the chance I have been praying for.”
She said she felt like her work was being recognised at last as she’s been given the opportunity to represent a brand in a positive light.
“It is a very exciting time; it is going to be a great winter. I’m in love with every single pair,” she said.
Although her favourite shoe colour is grey, she chose to wear black shoes on the day, and hinted that the new winter range would accommodate everyone.
“And the best thing about the shoes is that they are affordable. In fact, this shoe goes with all your looks – sexy to super swaggy,” she said.
LootLove is also co-hosting Metro FM’s show Wide Awake with Adil More every Saturday from 6am to 10am.
Stacey Clause, Footwork’s brand manager, said LootLove was following in Amanda Du-Pont’s footsteps – she showcased the spring range.
“LootLove is a perfect fit to be our brand ambassador – she was our first option,” she said.
“When customers see her wearing those boots in winter, they will want to get some for themselves,” Clause said.
LootLove was accompanied by rapper Sizwe “Reason” Moeketsi to the unveiling.
Rumours that the pair are dating have been doing the rounds since last year, and they may well be a couple as they tenderly hugged each other at the venue.
