Cape Town - In an excerpt from her forthcoming book ex-Idols judge, Mara Louw, says that especially during Apartheid local artists were not appreciated in their own country.
Mara goes on to say that their remuneration for their work were always less than what they deserved based on their experience and talent.
The excerpt was posted by BlackBird Books publisher Thabiso Mahlape who said that it is still the case in post Apartheid South Africa and that the book is coming soon.
