Meet SA’s new hot acting export

Cape Town – South African actor, Alan Santini is hitting the big time in Hollywood.

He’s starred in various US sitcoms and dramas such as Franklin and Bash, Revolt and Small Shots.

Local audiences might also recognise the actor from his work on several Edgars ads, which aired almost ten years ago.

Watch one of those ads here:

Now based in LA Alan has had the chance to work with some Hollywood heavyweights, here’s what he say about those experiences, “There’s beauty in working with people who have worked intimately with the actors I admire, because their direction allows you to play on the same spontaneous, creative and intuitive playground. I had an amazing opportunity through Larry Moss to work on a beautiful scene with Eva Mendes. She ended up landing a role in a film so we never got to perform the scene in the end, but that little nugget of insight into the process of a highly revered and professional actor like Eva was invaluable.”

Here are three more fun facts about, hot local star, Alan Santini:

1. He takes his fitness very seriously, take a look at his six-pack.

And on the 8th day God created.....Bound to lose some followers over this, but you shouldn't take life too seriously ??

2. He’s competitive and took part in the Crossfit regional games in Southern California.

3. Back in 2006 Alan dated fellow SA celeb, Lee-Anne Liebenberg, here's a photo of the two together at an event:
