Cape Town - The Juice bagged an interview with the recently married Minnie Dlamini and got the scoop on her wedding day and upcoming documentary series.
The local TV personality tied the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony in July, before jetting off to Paris where she celebrated her bachelorette party with her bridesmaids.
Talking about her traditional wedding, Minnie says: "It exceeded all expectations. I've never felt so much love in one place in my parents' home where I grew up. I've never seen my parents house as beautiful as the love it exuded."
But of course, there were more festivities to come, as Minnie and her now-husband Quinton Jones, sealed their union during a beautiful white wedding ceremony on 16 September.

About all the preparations that went into planning two weddings, Minnie says: "There is nothing more stressful than planning a wedding. I don't recommend it [she laughs]. But everything turned out as beautiful as I wanted and dreamed."
Both wedding gowns were designed by non-other than local designer Gert Johan Coetzee: "We had Swarovski laser cut leaves imported from Austria [for the white wedding gown]. My whole dress was encrusted in the crystals. I gave Gert the brief to look like a fairy tale princess, as it has always been my dream to look like a Disney princess. He knocked it out the park."
Speaking about the wedding special Minnie says: "Becoming Mrs Jones is the most in-depth personal piece of work I've produced. If you want to get to know me and the person I am, that's the show to watch."
Of course Becoming Mrs Jones won't be like any other "documentary" or "realty show" Minnie explains: "This is the first three part docu-series produced in SA. It's very existence is a format that hasn't been attempted. I'm excited to break barriers and contribute to our already booming industry."

Sharing her big day with the entire country Minnie says is very "nerve-wrecking," comparing it to "standing in front of a crowd naked." But adds: "It is a beautiful piece of work. I am extremely proud of it."
When asked about what the best part of filming was, Minnie says: "Knowing that the happiest days of my life will be captured forever."
Minnie didn't want to divulge anything further on the upcoming documentary and simply says: "To see my favourite moment you have to watch the wedding special, it totally encapsulates it."
The TV special will be aired in three parts from 13 October on Vuzu AMP (DStv 103).
