Minnie Dlamini 'in tears' when news of record-breaking ratings broke

Cape Town - Local TV personality Minnie Dlamini's wedding documentary series - Becoming Mrs Jones - made ratings history on Thursday. 

"Becoming Mrs Jones part one is officially the highest rated show in Vuzu Amp history!" Vuzu TV tweeted.

Minnie, who was at a photo shoot when the news broke, immediately started crying when she realised what had happened. 

Speaking to The Juice, she says: "I'm humbled and overwhelmed by the love and support I have received. My aim was to entertain South African audiences and I'm so happy I have been given the chance to do exactly that, I'm overjoyed!"

The three-part wedding special documents Minnie and her husband Quinton Jones' journey as they become husband and wife.

The second episode which will air on Friday at 19:30 on Vuzu Amp is not be missed, with Minnie calling it her "favourite episode."
