Minnie Dlamini to host new star-studded season of Tropika Island of Treasure

Johannesburg – After a two year break, popular reality show Tropika Island of Treasure is back!

This year the show once again boasts a star-studded cast including actor/musician Anga Makubalo, comedian Siv Ngesi, actors Maurice Paige, Zakeeya Patel and Jessica Nkosi, as well as musicians NaakMusiQ, Karlien Van Jaarsveld, and rapper Emtee. Celebs will battle it out alongside fans in the Seychelles to see who comes out tops.

Taking over as host this year is TV personality Minnie Dlamini, while Top Billing presenter Jonathan Boynton-Lee will fall in as the game master.

In 2013 the show made headlines when it aired just days after Reeva Steenkamp, who was one of the contestants, was killed.

Season 7 of Tropika Island of Treasure will air on SABC 3 later on in the year.
