MTN signs up as sponsor to help Cassper Nyovest fill up Orlando Stadium

Cape Town – According to a report by Sowetan Live, MTN has confirmed that they will be the main sponsor of Cassper Nyovest’s show at Orlando Stadium later this year.

The event #FillUpOrlandoStadium comes after the success of Nyovest’s previous show in which he attempted and succeeded to fill up the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg.

“It's not everyday a corporate company gets behind the dream of an African black child and genuinely help him/her. Ayeye MTN Ayeye!!!(sic),” Nyovest tweeted earlier this week.

The 25-year-old previously said that it cost him R3.2m to fill up the Dome and that he paid for it out of his own pocket.

This time around the local rapper said he would need R25m to make the concert at Orlando Stadium a reality of which he needs R15m in sponsorship.

MTN has not revealed the exact amount of money they will be sponsoring.

Fill Up Orlando Stadium is set to take place on Saturday, 29 October. Tickets are available from Computicket with prices ranging from R300 for general admission seated to R450 for access to the golden circle.
