Nomzamo slays at the African Movie Academy Awards

Johannesburg – She may not have walked away with the best actress award, but we’re sure if there was a "best fashion slayer" category, Nomzamo Mbatha would have owned it.

The actress, who attended the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA’s) on Saturday alongside co-star/bae, Maps Maponyane, looked stunning in a handful of snaps she posted to her Instagram account.

Nomzamo was nominated in the Best Actress in a Leading Role category for her role in the SA feature film, Tell Me Sweet Something. And even though she did not walk away with the award, the film still managed to score the Achievement in Screenplay award. While Nomzamo’s co-star, Thishiwe Ziqubu, claimed the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
