Ntandoyenkosi Kunene shares a hug with Miss World

Cape Town - Miss South Africa - Ntandoyenkosi Kunene - posed for a photo with Miss World 2016 winner, Stephanie Del Valle.

Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico was crowned Miss World 2016 on Sunday.

Ntandoyenkosi Kunene did not place in top 20.

Following the winner announcement, contestants celebrated Miss Puerto Rico's win backstage:

"Thank you so much for all the support you have given me. It means so much to me. I had a beautiful time and I'm ready for the next adventure," she wrote on Instagram after the the winner was crowned.

Posing for a photo with Miss World, she wrote on Instagram, "Happiness all around."
