Papgeld problems: Other soccer players' childish acts

Johannesburg - What is it with our soccer stars’ maintenance matters?

Here are a few others whose baby mamas have had to get tough on them:

- In May, Sunday World reported that Orlando Pirates defender Nkosinathi Mthiyane found police and his baby mama camping at a stadium dressing room with a summons and a maintenance order;

- In November last year, City Press reported that the wife of Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro dragged the star player to the maintenance court, demanding that he pay her R40 000 a month for the care of their eight-month-old son;

- In June last year, Daily Sun reported that Bafana Bafana star Eric “Tower” Mathoho was in hot water with his baby mama over allegations that he neglected their child; and

- In June 2015, Sunday Sun reported that Platinum Star’s Solomon Mathe failed to pay R1 800 a month in maintenance. He claimed he was unemployed, despite earning R60 000 a month.
