Cape Town - After winning Idols SA last year, there’s no doubt Paxton Fielies’ schedule is jam-packed balancing both her studies and music career.

Speaking to DJ Fresh in an interview with Metro FM, the pint-sized singer says one of her priorities in the new year is being an international artist and producing more tunes.

“I would love to go international, ASAP. I’m busy working on my first album, I am going to Sweden, I’ve been invited by the queen there,” Paxton revealed.

The 17-year-old also revealed that she wants to give equal attention to her studies and singing as it’s a make-or-break year for her.

“I am going to see my principal in the week, I need to find out what the plan is forward, but we’re definitely gonna work around my gigs and shows because this is a busy year for me,” the teen said.

In addition to the title of Idols SA winner, Paxton got some serious cash too.

“I’m really proud of myself. It’s something I’ve wanted, it’s very rewarding to be given. I save because I have so much money and I don’t know what to do with it yet, there are a lot of things I want to do with that money in future,” she said.
