??????DAY 1 @sxsw ?????? ?Visited Mars at the @nasa stand at the Austin Convention Centre (virtual reality goggles and 4D seating. So dope!!!) ?got a massive shot of confidence and inspiration from hanging out at the @wearetfq girls lounge. Ladies, check them out...you won't be disappointed #femaleempowerment ?Bumped into my first science teacher @billnye and got a quick selfie!?? #TheScienceGuy ?The best session with @tonimorgan on how to create an effective crowdfunding campaign. Absolute holy grail for indie creatives!!!thanks for sharing your gems,Toni! ?Paramount Theatre for the world premiere of @atomicblondemovie supporting our girl @charlizeafrica in one of her most grueling yet baddddd ass movies ever!!! ???????????? Guys, you have to go see this movie when it (eventually) gets to SA! (Still can't belive I was in the same room as Charlize Theron and @jamesmcavoyrealdeal ...he is so much more than Professor X??) ?Ended the day with a trip to @lalaland for some hip jazz at Seb's (as seen in the movie). Went inside hoping to find Ryan Gosling but I ended up being reprimanded for staring at all the dudes with beards...apparently Ryan has a beard now...oh well, I tried!?????? Awesome day. ??????DAY 2 @sxsw ?????? ? Attended a talk with @johncena as the guest. What a dude! Another risk-taker-turned-success-story this guy! This place is full of them?? ?Went to a podcast recording hosted by queens @courtneykocak and @iamstephbeatz (She's an amazing actress who plays Rosa on #brooklynninenine one of my FAVE shows!). Was like hanging with my home girls back in CPT. Womxn's issues are the same world wide, ladies. ?????? ?Visited the Alamo theatre for a screening of In The Light Of The Moon by @jessica.m.thompson Such an important & thought provoking film...make sure you see it when it eventually gets to SA! @iamstephbeatz nails every aspect of her role as this complex lead character. ??? ? the alamo @drafthouse theatre has the best pre-movie entertainment: vintage French music videos!! You can also order food and drinks (diner style)before and during the movie???????? ?Ended the day with a guided tour of Austins finest: some parties, drinks and shrimp tacos with Candi Clem, a dear friend of my dear friend @jackiequeens ?? If you don't know who this man in my selfie is, you are too young for anything in life. Just go sleep please. Don't even come here with stuff. I can remember falling asleep on moms couch in Belhar, Cape Town (the other CPT) at my brothers 13th birthday and then hearing 'Regulate' being played. I was UP!
