PICS: Lira and Ladysmith Black Mambazo team up for new song

Cape Town – South African superstars Lira and Ladysmith Black Mambazo have hit the studio to record a song together.

The as-yet-unnamed track is a tribute to anti-Apartheid activist Oliver Reginald Kaizana Tambo. The late ANC leader would have been 100-years-old on Friday, 27 October.

Viewers of The Voice SA will remember that the band were guest performers on the popular M-Net show that also features Lira on as a judge.
