PICS: SA Olympian Wayde weds his long-time sweetheart

Cape Town - South African Olympian Wayde van Niekerk married his long-time sweetheart Chesney Campbell in a wedding ceremony over the weekend.

The event was held at the Bloemfontein Botanical Gardens and it was all planned by Envie Concept’s Tony Peng.

Wayde and Chesney got engaged at the end of last year.

Wedding photographer Stephanie de Jager took photos at the flower filled event and local presenter Siv Ngesi was the MC. Wayde’s compatriot Akani Simbine and his girlfriend, presenter, Abigail Visagie were also in attendance, among 200 guests.

Wayde posted a picture of the event on his Twitter account from the big day with the caption: “Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you @Neshney. So blessed to start this next adventure with the girl of my dreams! I ♥? you.”
