Cape Town - Thandi Klaasen's friends and family bid her farewell at a funeral service held in Alberton on Friday,

Local jazz singer Thandi Klaasen died on Sunday 15 January at the age of 86.

Prominent figures in attendance included Thabo Mbeki; who it was revealed Thandi had a crush on!
