Johannesburg – She may not have taken the international Emmy for the Best Actress, but local star Thuso Mbedu still stunned on the red carpet at the prestigious event.
The actress was nominated at the International Emmy awards for her role in SA production Is'thunzi. Sharing snaps of her gorgeous blue gown on social media, Thuso thanked her fans and loved ones for their continued support.
“Thank you to EVERYONE for the love and support and well wishes. You don’t know how much it has meant. It’s been a great and exciting journey, (sic)” Thuso wrote.
Further on in the post she encouraged South Africans not to give up on their dreams. “Guys, the world is our oyster. There is nothing we cannot do. For me, this is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in my life. (sic)”
