Prince Kaybee survives hit-and-run

Johanneburg – House DJ, Prince Kaybee, is grateful after surviving a hit-and-run while on his way to a gig in Pretoria.

The Sama nominee was in the passenger seat of his white BMW 1 Series when a Toyota Hilux drove into him then sped off. Luckily neither Prince, nor his driver, were seriously injured in the accident.

Talking to Daily Sun, Prince said, “The driver of the Hilux was swerving on and off the road. I told my driver the guy was driving as if he was drunk.”

Prince says he did not expect what happened next. “Little did I know he would drive straight into us. Next thing we woke up on the side of the road.”

The singer, who remembers praying to God to save his life, says his BMW is a complete write-off. Even so, he is grateful to have escaped with his life. “I’m grateful I survived. Life goes on and I need to find some coping mechanism to help me deal with the shock.”
