Redi Tlhabi recovers hacked Twitter account

Johannesburg – After announcing in September that her Twitter account had been hacked, Redi Tlhabi on Friday shared the news that she finally has access to it again.

The former 702 presenter's account had been hacked just weeks after she released her book Khwezi. In a video posted to social media by eNCA's Karyn Maughan, Redi called the hack "sophisticated", saying: "It has been escalated to the highest level but Twitter has not figured out what's been going on."

Now, after four weeks, the radio personality finally has access to her account.

“As you know my account was hacked. It’s been four weeks. I just want thank everybody who helped me retrieve it,” Redi says in a new video posted to Twitter, adding: “It’s truly me. I’m going to post a few things just to show you that I’m really back.”
