Celebrity hairstylist and Rhythm City star Iko Mash dies - reports

Cape Town –  According to several online reports South African hairstylist and Rhythm City star, Iko Mash has died.

The Daily Sun first reported that the LGBTQI activist died on Friday morning due to a terminal illness. Drum also reported on Mash's death, writing: "Iko had worked over the years as a make-up artist and stylist to many publications including DRUM."

The star played a transgender character, Zahr on the hit e.tv soapie. Tributes have been pouring in on social media since the news first broke.
