Rocking the Daisies: 9 camping sites you should know about

Cape Town – You’ve got your ticket and you’re ready  for Superbalist is Rocking the Daisies! But WTF are you going to do about the camping side of things?

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with all the info you need to know about the 9 different areas that you can stay in.

Here’s a teaser trailer for the event, before we get into all the details, to give you a taste of what to expect: 

1. Daisyland Plus: 

Just because the Heartbreak Hotel is sold out, doesn’t mean that campers who enjoy luxury, have to miss out. This accommodation costs R975pp (excluding booking fees and a festival ticket). Remember that in this area you’ll need your own tent and camping equipment.

2. Daisyland Tipi Village:

This fun accommodation area for Rocking the Daisies 2016, has various options for different size groups starting at R4450 for a two-man tent (excluding booking fees and a festival ticket).

3. Daisyland Greenfields:

If you’re not really a DIY camper at heart, then this option is for you. They’ll give you a tent and a mattress; you just have to bring your own linen. For R2450 (excluding booking fees and festival ticket) someone will do all the hardwork for you so you can get to rocking sooner.

4. Rocking Water Closets (WC):

If you are staying in the regular camping area but want a hot shower every morning and access to other things that give you a taste of the glamping life, then this for you. Get access to The Rocking Water Closets for R235 (excluding booking fees and excluding festival ticket). 

5. Daisyland Queen Bee:

If you want your own porter, a fully stocked bar fridge and a whole more to make you feel like you’re Beyoncé on tour than this is the option for you. It costs R15 950 (excluding booking fees and a festival ticket).

6. Daisyland Honeycomb Suites:

If you want breakfast every morning, a bed, linen and everything else you need to live it up at Daisies this year then this is the option for you. It costs R4950p/p (excludes booking fees and excluding festival ticket). 

7. Daisyland Explorer Tent Village: 

This option give you a tent, access to showers and a healthy breakfast area. The perfect middle ground for people who don’t quite want to live like Beyonce on tour but still have some creature comforts. A two man tent in the explorer tent costs R4450 and there are more options for larger groups. 

8. All about Campervans, caravans and mobile homes at Rocking the Daisies:

Do you have a mobile home and want to rock some daisies? Then this is the option for you, reasonably priced at R1800 per caravan you’ll receive 4 wristbands and a whole lot more but there are rules to adhere to, so read them carefully here

9. Stretch Tents:

You can bring a bedouin tent to Rocking The Daisies this year but space is limited so please make sure to read the size limitations set out by the organisers, here
