Safe at Istanbul airport now: Bobby Van Jaarsveld

Cape Town – Local singer, songwriter and actor Bobby Van Jaarsveld recently took a trip to Israel with his father.

The Voice SA coach saw some amazing sites and documented his entire voyage, with his father, on his social media accounts.

On his way back home on Wednesday, after the trip, Bobby flew via Turkey’s Ataturk Airport which was rocked by a terror attack on Tuesday night just one day earlier.

The singer tweeted the following from the airport: “Safe @ Istanbul airport now ... It's as if nothing happened here last night. #istanbulattack”; reassuring followers know that he was safe.

Here are some awesome pictures from Bobby’s trip, followed by the tweets.

Vandag eindig ons toer deur #Israel. Wat ñ belewenis en om dit saam my pa te deel... Kan ek net God eer daarvoor. ????
