Sam Cowen: I'm an alcoholic

Cape Town – "Im an alcoholic and I've been sober for 14 and a half years," TV and radio personality Samantha Cowen revealed on Facebook. 

You might know Sam Cowen from her show on e.tv, Great Expectations, or from her Weekend Breakfast Show on 702 and CapeTalk on Saturdays and Sundays.

She has become a staple of the local airwaves for many years and has also written numerous books about motherhood like: Waiting for Christopher and Good Enough Mother. More recently she co-authored The Irreverent Mothers’ Handbook.

Now the multi-talented creative has revealed her battle with the bottle linking it to her weight gain in an honest and open Facebook post.
