Shield challenges South African influencers to move

Johannesburg – On Saturday Shield MotionSense ambassadors Unathi Msengana and Janez Vermeiren celebrated the #ShieldItsYourMove social media campaign with a mix of South African influencers and bloggers in Johannesburg.

The movement-focused campaign, which launched on 1 August, challenged 15 influencers and bloggers, including blogger Mika Stefano, celebrity make-up artist Gina Myers, and choreographer Nkateko “Takkies” Maswenganye, to track their daily activity for one month.

This was all in an effort to show that some of the most common everyday activities make South Africans move.

The influencers were challenged to put technology to the test by tracking their daily activity and sharing their movement results with other campaign participants and their community by using the hashtag #ShieldItsYourMove.

To celebrate the campaign, Shield hosted a morning full of movement at Yoga Republic in Randburg where participants were challenged to see how much they moved during a boxing, dance and yoga session.

Check out some snaps from the event.

15 influencers and bloggers gathered to show off their moves.

Janez took charge as the group took on a boxing challenge.

Takkies and Unathi lead the crowd in a fun dance session.

The group also enjoyed some relaxing yoga.
