Snaps: Leleti Khumalo gave us the ultimate Youth Day TBT

Johannesburg – While some celebs shared their special memories with us on Youth Day, others all across the country took to their social media accounts on Thursday to share what they got up to, including iconic actress, Leleti Khumalo. The star joined in on the act, transporting us back in time with just one snap. Talk about #ThrowbackThursday!

Leleti stole our hearts in 1992 when she took on the lead role in the South African musical, Sarafina. Since then it’s impossible for us to see a group of students in uniform without having flashbacks of THAT dance routine.

Seems we’re not the only ones though. While at a screening of Sarafina, Leleti couldn’t resist re-living that special moment. The actress posted an image of herself and a group of students in uniform with fists raised, paying tribute to the loved musical.

“This is emotional, this is how we should spend our #june16 holiday,” she wrote.
