Johannesburg – With Nelson Mandela Day taking place on 18 July, many celebs are getting into the spirit of giving. And while some will donate 67 minutes on the day, Somizi plans to give away 67 suits.
Doing his part for Mandela day, Somizi has come up with the brilliant plan to donate 67 suits to high school boys who cannot afford to buy their own for their matric dance.
The reality star took to his Instagram account to share his campaign with followers.
“Last year I started a raise matric dance dress campaign. My aim was to raise 67 dresses. Ended up getting 300 dresses for girls around the country. This year is like to grown the campaign by also raising 67 suits for matric boys (sic).”
After pledging to donate 30 of his own suits which he has worn to previous events, Somizi is nearly halfway to his goal.
