Cape Town - Technical errors plagued the broadcast of Wednesday night's episode of Bobby en Karlien: In Jou Skoene. A technical audio error meant that, despite a clear visual image, viewers could hear no sound. The show was replaced with the previous week’s episode after 20 minutes.
In an official press statement VIA apologised for the inconvenience viewers experienced. "We are currently investigating the matter to determine the cause and will keep viewers informed,’’ says Izelle Venter, VIA’s channel head.
The sound on the show was restored and the episode was rebroadcast at 22:00 on the same night. VIA will repeat the show in a special broadcast on Thursday, 23 February at 17:00 and again at 19:00. The repeat on Sunday (26 February) at 18:30 will proceed as normal. For DStv subscribers with Explora decoders, the episode is already available.
