Cape Town - 24-year-old hyper-realistic artist, Sylvan Ant Siyabonga Dube, is celebrating local celebrities through his art.
And thanks to social media Hunky Hitman - as he calls himself - can share his masterpieces with all of us as he pays homage to big names in the entertainment business.
What makes his artwork even more impressive is the fact that he is self-taught. "I learnt how to draw through watching YouTube tutorials," he told The Juice.
Siya started creating fan art in 2010 when he realised that South African stars were not being celebrated enough through art, like their international counterparts.
His favourite drawing so far is a piece he did of Generations: The Legacy actress, Zenande Mfenyana.
And how does he choose his subject? "Most of the time I pick them randomly from the pictures I save, and sometimes I stumble upon a picture online that I just have to draw! Like the Khanyi Mbau drawing I did."
"The response has been amazing, with some stars going as far as posting and buying my work. When I started I never imagined that my artwork would be welcomed like it has, I am truly grateful," he says when talking about his success.
When asked if he has a favourite celebrity he likes to draw, he says, "I am currently doing a drawing of him, it's one of my biggest projects to date."
Guess we will just have to wait and see!
