Tresor's Jacquel Entertainment Group partners up with Universal Music Africa

Johannesburg – Universal Music Africa has announced a partnership with musician Tresor’s record label and talent management company Jacquel Entertainment Group. 

According to a statement By Universal the partnership with Tresor’s label seeks to empower local artist development, ownership and production. The deal was signed by Sipho Dlamini, Managing Director (South Africa & Sub Saharan Africa) for Universal Music Africa, and Tresor. 

Releases for 2018 under the new partnership include BATUNDI and BONJ. 

“Always excited about empowering and developing the new pool of A&R and Music Business Executives. Tresor has spent time investing in other artists and developing a team of very talented writers and producers. It is our responsibility as Universal to support people that take an initiative like this. We are excited about the forthcoming releases from Jacquel Entertainment Group and cannot wait for the world to hear their music,” Sipho said about the deal.
