Cape Town - South African comedian Trevor Noah was recently on an American morning show - CBS This Morning - where he spoke about his book and his view on Donald Trump’s presidential win.
In case you missed it, Trevor’s book is called Born a Crime and unpacks what it was like to grow up during the twilight years of the apartheid regime.
Oprah’s close friend, Gayle King, asks Trevor about his relationship with his mother, which he mentions in the book and he says “South Africa was a nation raised by women.”
On Trump’s presidential win Noah speaks at length about misogyny, the glass ceiling and says, “a lot of the world is disappointed in America.”
